Dr. Robert J. Bauder graduated from Southern Oregon State University in 1980 double majoring with a Bachelor of Science in Business and Biology. He then attended Oregon Health and Science University in 1984 where he earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. He and his wife Molly moved to Alaska shortly after graduating where he worked with Public Health Services treating Alaskan Natives in Bethel, Fairbanks and surrounding rural communities. In 1990 they moved to the Kenai Peninsula where he started his family dental practice and has been practicing ever since.
With over 34 years of dental experience, Dr. Bauder is dedicated to providing the highest quality of care to his patients and their families. He is committed to continuing education and furthering his knowledge in various areas of dental discipline including cosmetics, several types of sedation dentistry, implants, prosthetics and orthodontics. He is one of few dentists in Alaska to have earned one of the most rigorous continuing dental education achievements; a Fellowship Award with the Academy of General Dentistry for completing over 500+ hours of continuing education followed by a difficult comprehensive exam. He is a member of the American Dental Association, The Academy of General Dentistry, The American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, The Alaska Dental Society, The Mid America Orthodontic Society and past President of The Kenai-Kodiak Dental Society. When he can break away from work, Dr. Bauder loves to fly his Super Cub, go fishing, hunting and spend time with his wife, children and grand-children.
